About the role
You will own the frontend on client engagements end to end: architecture, component systems, motion and performance. This is a role for someone who cares whether a transition is 280ms or 340ms, and who can also explain why the bundle grew by 40kb.
What you'll do
- Architect and build production frontends in Next.js and TypeScript
- Translate design systems into typed, reusable component libraries
- Implement scroll choreography and micro-interactions with GSAP and Framer Motion
- Own Core Web Vitals and accessibility for the projects you lead
- Review code and mentor engineers earlier in their craft
What we're looking for
- 5+ years building production web interfaces
- Deep React and TypeScript fluency, including the parts that are not fun
- Demonstrable eye for motion, spacing and typographic detail
- Practical accessibility knowledge beyond an automated audit
- Comfort talking directly to clients about trade-offs
Nice to have
- WebGL or Three.js experience
- Design tooling fluency in Figma
- Open-source contributions we can read
